The simple white house, primitive windows, spindly trees, and the traditional welcome symbol, a pineapple, is stitched on 32ct Summer Khaki Linen in overdyed flosses of Weeks, Gentle Art and Crescent! What makes it so special is the finishing... it is shown mounted onto a brick-red metal plate, that is embossed with the alphabet. Included with the chart is the cool 10-inch plate, that features a center area approx 6 inches in diameter for the stitching. Notice the alphabet embossed in the plate. Also provided is a round mounting board, so you can wrap your needlework around the board, and mount into the plate. Included are the pattern, plate and mounting board. I just knew we had to have this one.
