A paddlewheeler, now how many of those have you stitched? My parents took the Delta Queen down the Mississippi one year and had the best time and this brings back that memory. Gliding down the river past the towns, although I'm not sure you'd see a mermaid in the river. This piece is stitched using Rhodes, Flame and Smryna Stitches, the boat wheel is a giant Eyelet Stitch over 20 threads. Finishing approx 4 x 9 on 32ct, this uses lots of rich overdyeds of blues, greens, golds and reds.
