Maria Hockin was 8 years old when she stitched this sampler in 1841. What a wonderful job she did in designing this. It's hard to believe she was 8. Typical sampler with the alphabet, etc. Again you can make smaller samplers with this or you can pull elements out of the big sampler and make scissor fobs, needlebooks, etc.
