Sunday, March 22 – Cylinder Needlekeep
This 4-1/2” high by 1-3/4” diameter cylinder is stitched using two different 32-count linens & silk threads in shades of blue & green. It is a vibrant teaching piece showcasing various detached filling stitches. The lid lifts to reveal 2 wool needle pages & the cylinder itself is stuffed with walnut shells so it can be used as a weight and/or pincushion.
Stitches used include Double Running, Whipped Double Running, Trellis, Spiral Trellis, Detached Buttonhole, Spiral Detached Buttonhole, Buttonhole Bars, Hollie Point, Spiral Hollie Point, & Chain.
Kit includes two linens, silk fabric, wool fabric, silk threads, needles, practice fabric, muslin, interfacings, button, color copies, directions & charts.

Cost: $460
A very elegant etui - created by stitching the outer shell of a hand-side etui with a stunning medley of grey-tone mauve and purple hues, a dash of glimmer provided by a Bijou metallic and lined with a perfectly matching - extraordinary woven purple/grey/mauve- dark silk fabric. Stitched on 37 ct linen for Access comodities.
Complete kit includes all stitching and finishing supplies with detailed step-by-step instructions.
Friday, April 10 – Sophie’s Pocket
Cost: $490
This 4"h x3 /12"w x 1 1/2"d pocket showcases a stitched front and back panel adorned with little roses and rosebuds on a rambling vine along with the side panel that features a trellis with matching climbing roses. The color pallet used was inspired by a English Cotswold cottage garden. The top hand painted velvet pincushion area is functional to hold stray pins and needles but once pulled out of the pocket the interior panel presents itself with four storage areas that can hold a tiny scissor, thimble, waxer and your favorite threads.
Complete kit includes all stitching and finishing supplies with detailed step-by-step instructions.
Saturday, April 11 – Tutti Fruity Tray
Cost: $505
A darling stitched four sided scalloped tray with stitched handle perfectly displays the unique three dimensional collection of fruits created to be used as pincushions. Join me as we play together in class creating a apple, pear, plum, orange, lemon and apricot with grapes.
