Every year Heart in Hand does a special Collector's Heart kit.  We have realized we failed to put these into the catalog.  So we are picking the latest we have.  We think these make cute small wedding gifts, or anniversary gifts so keep them in mind when you need something done quickly for a friend.  The kits come with the linen and embellishments along with the charts but there are NO fibers included.

2020 Collector's Heart- there are actually two different charts included, the first is a red sampler shown stitched on 32 ct. PTP Legacy linen using Classic Colorworks: Cherry Cobbler, Eggshell, and Pebble Beach.  In the kit, you have the Legacy linen, cream beads, and an enamel bird button for embellishment. Finished size is approx. 2" x 7 1/4"  The 2nd chart is the Love Birds shown stitched on 32 ct. Tango linen, also included, and finished in the shape of a heart. The Classic Colorworks used in this design is: Eggshell, Jakey Brown, Pebble Beach, Rose Petal, and Sticks and Twigs.  The finished size is approx. 3" x 2 1/2"  

2018 Collector's Heart-This was the 20th annual heart design and Cecelia decided to give you 2 designs here. One is a contemporary heart fob stitched on 28 ct. Light Mocha and stitched using: Classic Colorworks: Carrie Berry, Holly Berry, and Sea Shelley as well as Gentle Arts: Hibiscus.  The finished size is approx. 2" x 2"  The other design would be perfect for an anniversary gift for your better half as it says, "All of me Loves all of you."  and it is shown stitched on 28 ct. Light Mocha as well using, Classic Colorworks: Blushing Beauty, Cherry Tomato, Holly Berry, Stepping Stones.  Also Gentle Arts: Antique Rose, Old Red Paint, Straw Bonnet as well as Weeks Dye Works: Cocoa, Flatfish, and Hibiscus.  The finished design size is approx. 4 1/4" x 4 1/4"

Shepherd's Bush is celebrating July with this sweet little kit, and even the sheep are showing their patriotism.  Stitched on 32 ct. French Country Café Mocha and stitched with Weeks Dye Works fibers, which are included in the kit.  Kit includes chart, Floss and linen and finishes approx. 5' x 6".

Little House Needleworks introduced a new pin cushion design in Nashville which is selling  with a couple of extra supplies,  6 full skeins of Classic Colorworks hand-dyed floss and  3 Just Another Button Company's hand-made pins.  You supply the linen for stitching. Shown stitched on 32 ct. Lambswool Jobelan and finished design size is approx. 5" x 5".

The 2018 Collector’s Heart is the 20th annual collector’s heart Cecelia has released. The kit includes two designs. The larger is a spot sampler that includes select elements from a sampling of the previous Collector’s Hearts. The smaller is a heart made of 20 triangles, one for each year a Collector’s Heart has been released. This kit comes with charts for both designs, two cuts of linen, a clay button and a few beads. You add bits of floss from your stash.

Introducing the fifth and final design in the Mouse in a House Limited Edition Series.  Stitched on 32 ct. Stone Gray linen, each side of the house is decorated with stitch details and inside you will find Little Frosty Mouse.  Frosty is stitched on 32 ct. white Opalescent linen.  He has a carrot nose just like a snowman.  This design comes as a chart with embellishments.  There is a 12 page stitch guide, 24 inches of ribbon,white felt, chipboard for the house base, silver crystal beads, white pearl beads, a silver bell, mini white pon pon, a lavender snowflake sequin, the wired string tail, brass botton mouse base and orange toothpick nose.  The house is built from 4 lined triangles attached to a square base.  Pretty ribbons tie the sides together.  The mouse fits inside. Stitched using DMC floss.

A 3 dimensional flying bat done on perforated paper, is joining the many other Halloween kits from Val's Stuff and like the others, everything but floss is included in the kit.  There are two kits available, one with the green bat supplies and one with orange bat supplies, however both designs, "bite me" and "just batty" are included in every kit so you can stitch whichever you like on your bat.  These are fast stitches and fast finishes.

 For the purple bat you will need Weeks Dye Works Ultraviolet and Chartreuse DMC black and white.             For the green bat, you will need Weeks Dye Works Pepperoncini & Ultraviolet, DMC black,white and 3011           For the Yellow Bat, you will need WDW Curry and Purple Majesty                                                                    For the Black Bag, you will need WDW Merlin & Dahlia                                                                                   For the Deep Sea Blue Bat, you will need WDW Deep Sea, Paris Green

Other supplies needed include a low temp hot glue gun (although I used my regular hot glue gun), a 2" sewing needle and pinking shears for cutting the Weeks Wool used to back the wings.  It isn't necessary to use pinking shears but for the model look that is what was used.  

Linda is presenting "Mermaid Berry" as companion pieces to her "By The Sea" sewing set.  In the original set, the berry was stitched on linen, Mermaid Berry is stitched on 40 ct. gauze.  There is also a medallion shown, also stitched on silk gauze (both cuts are included with the chart pack), which is shown finished on a jar lid.  Floss used on both models (which you must provide) is:

Val's has become know for the fun Halloween designs every year and now she's giving us fabulous kits which include the frame shown here in purple with lime green polka dots.  The model is stitched on 28 ct. Tin Roof Gingham using Week Dye Works: Chartreuse, Grapefruit, Cinnamon Twist, Ultraviolet, Saffron, Monkey Grass, Mulberry, and Pumpkin as well as DMC Blanc and 310.  The chart comes with the frame and the crescent moon button from JABCO.  You supply the floss.  Finished size is approx. 3" x 5"  

This narrow sampler was part of the Nashville show as a special design, which includes the Classic Colorworks Thread.  It is a needleworker's sampler as many of the letters refer to stitching tools, etc. and there is a stitcher on it holding one of her stitching projects.    Shown stitched on 32 ct. Weeks Confederate Gray linen and the finished size is approx. 2  1/4" x 19 1/4".   Stitching motifs include buttons, hoop, needle, scissor, spool of thread and a stitcher.  Included with the chart are the Classic Colorworks skeins of  Antique Lace, Calico Kitty, Cocoa Bean, Pebble Beach and Weeping Willow .  You do need to supply a small amount of  DMC 422 and 951 to stitch.  Fabric is not included.

Lizzie Kate's Inspirational Boxer Series is truly an inspiration and a great gift to yourself or to someone in need of an uplifting surprise.  This boxer actually has two charts, "Have Faith", a bonus chart,  for those experiencing difficulty and "Be the Rainbow in someone else's cloud" for those fortunate folks who are helpful to others.  The fabric is included for "Be the Rainbow" and it is 30 ct. Lambswool linen with a finished design size of 7" x 3".  For the Bonus chart you will have to pull fabric out of your own stash and it is approx. 3" x 3.5" when stitched over 2 on 28 ct. linen.  Both Charts use Weeks Dye Works:Boysenberry, Busy Lizzie, Cocoa, Grapevine, Grasshopper, and Jaybird. 2 Small Flower Buttons are also included. You just need to supply the fibers

Two more of Val's new series of Christmas Ornaments stitched on perforated paper.  You supply your own floss but everything else is included, perforated paper, backing, cord for hanging and button embellishments.

The latest inspirational saying,"Accept what is-Let go of what was-and Have Faith in what will be,"  was one of the "finalists" from an earlier inspiration sayings contest. As they celebrate 20 years together in the needlework biz, Linda wants to fill 2016 with lots of positive, empowering, "can-do" thoughts. Boxer kit includes 32 ct. Following in the footsteps of Very Merry Santa, and Hello Spring, Linda is continuing her little "purse" series. Love Summer includes her favorite summer-y motifs, including her first L*K mermaid.  First in a new series of 4 designs, a beautiful spring garden is in full bloom.   The finished size when framed is 4 3/4" x 4 3/4", however, Nan has also made it into a pretty little case as well, by just folding the corners in.  How dear this is.  Each of the four corners features a different color scheme, flowers and animal.  While the sheep is easy to spot, there is also a rabbit and a bird.   Stitched on 32 ct. Natural linen with DMC flosses, there are lavender and light blue bead embellishments and one of Nan's hand-painted violet charms to dress the center.  The beads and the violet charm are included.  The tulip bouquet charm seen in the open case is not included but is available.

Spring has sprung and everyone is bringing their plants out after the winter or coming home with lots that's new! This little piece showcases a variety of potted plants, including a fern, composed of lots of little lazy daisy stitches, and a cactus with little tiny straight stitches for the prickles.  Fun! A Schoolroom Primer a small,  2-7/8" x 4-3/8 inch sampler stitched on 40ct vintage Buttercream linen,  hornbook design.  The kit includes the fabric, floss, a parchment alphabet and the hornbook.  One of the parchment alphabets is in the photo.  It is attached to the back of the hornbook with glue and then covered with a matte finish.  The sampler is small and simple which makes it quick to stitch. Once it's finished, you mount it to one side of the wooden hornbook paddle that is included in the complete kit. Also included is the school lesson for the day, alphabet and numerals that you need to learn. She has included these on parchment paper, and printed them in four different fonts, so you can choose the one you like best. It mounts to the reverse side of the 4-3/4" x 4-3/4" hornbook.
