Welcome to our new website!
It finally happened....I was retired, again! And then we found we needed a big overhaul on the website and I was tasked with the job...so I guess I'm now unretired. But mercy how things have changed since I last did this. The biggest change is I'm 72 and don't understand most of what has to be done, but I'm committed to the job so I'm working longer, once again into the night, but I am getting somewhat the hang of things....although there's a lot more that I have no idea about so who knows what's going to happen here. I mean what could possibly go wrong? (Is that light at the end of the tunnel the end...or the oncoming train.) It doesn't help that Jay, the gentlemen helping me set the website up, doesn't understand our industry and I don't understand technology so we speak different languages. Also what's important to someone selling t-shirts is not the same as what is important to a needleworker. So bear with me as Jay and I plod through the process. It's been a long road from January until today and it's been filled with quite a few potholes, a few cuss words have left my mouth and if I've said it once I've said it a million times, "I am too old for this &%$#." But I'm in the home stretch now so I'm thrilled we got this far. So we present to you our new website, which is still in the process of having many more items added, plus whatever new comes in, but I think it's time to let you see what we've been up to. I apologize if there are any glitches but we are working on it 24/7 so hopefully we've caught them before you see them. But rest assured each day I'll be putting more on it until every bead, button, linen, fiber, etc. is in the catalog, so check back often. When the process is finally completed, everything we sell in the shop will also be available on-line, so we've got a way to go before it's all in. And, of course, each week I'll put what's "Just Arrived" into the catalog. So please "hang in there" with us as we struggle to get this web site the way we want it and get all the items in the catalog. We won't give up until it's correct.
