According to Barb, "The ground is covered in snow and it is so cold here in the Midwest. We are tucked in front of a blazing fire as we dream of the arrival of Spring. We know when the weather warms up and the grass turns green, violets will pop up all over the yard adding lovely little dots of purple, white and yellow." Offered as a leaflet, with the model stitched on 30ct hand-dyed linen and stitched with nine different shades of Weeks, Gentle Art and Crescent hand dyed flosses. Click for Detail	Maria Selby Humphrey 1831.....Blackbird Designs The ladies of Blackbird designs have taken design elements from the original sampler, also shown in the book, and created a pin cushion drum along with the original house charted with what looks like a pretty quilt block border along the top. Stitched on R & R 30ct. linen, the "My Home" piece finishes approx. 6" x 6", and the little drum, stitched on 28ct. measures approx 5"x 3". Finishing instructions are included for that drum assembly.
