A different take on a sampler...you have a border, it just doesn't go around the entire piece and you have the alphabet, a house, house, etc. and it is then made up into a  pillow.  Love the pillow idea.  I'm not fond of doing a repetitive border so I Love having just a partial border and yet you haven't lost the look of the sampler.  The model is stitched on 40  ct. Linen but you can always stitch on the count you see best, and it's stitched with Gentle Arts Fibers.  Finished size when stitched on 40 ct. is 8.5" x 10.5"  Chart only.

This looks like such fun to stitch, and also fast and easy...my two favorite things.  I simply adore the slipper and can envision several other designs I could put on it.  But I love the mouse as well so that I'll do first.  I've read the finishing directions and they appear to be easy enough to do.  Worked on week's 30ct Cocoa linen in only 4 colors. The larger cat pillow measures approx. "6 x 8", the pinkeep is 3.5" square and the little slipper is only 1.5"x 5.5".  I'm thinking this would make a fabulous Secret Santa gift for your stitching friends.  Chart only.

Blue Ribbon's 2013 three-part Mystery Sampler series is now complete.   So much packed into one sampler with excellent opportunites to use parts of sampler for pinkeeps, scissor fobs, etc.  Stitched on Week's 30ct Blue Jeans hand-dyed linen in either Week's or DMC flosses. The piece is presented in a series of three charts... the color code in ONLY in chart #1.   Finished size is 10" x 20" on the 30 ct.  But don't forget you can stitch it on any count and any color you like

A sampler sitched by a child...a neighbor who lived next to Lori when she was 8.  Stitched on 30 ct. Weeks Confederate Gray using Needlepoint Silk but also coded for DMC.  Finished size is approx. 6.25"x9.75".  We have a kit of the NPI silks available so you don't have to invest in the whole skein.  Chart only
